Steve Margolis studied painting at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington DC and the Arts Students League in New York City as well as privately with both Sam Adoquei and Grieg Kreutz.  He received training in atmospheric prismatic painting by John C Traynor and the late Frank Mason.  Steve has been a resident artist for the past thirteen years at the Salmagundi Arts Club in New York City.  He has won  awards for excellence in judged contests including Salmagunidi's Philip Isenberg Memorial Award and  the President's Award at the Kent Art Club in Connecticut.  His work is included in both private and corporate collections.
